Happy New Year....where did 2010 go?
This year has flown by! I don't feel like it's been my year at all but it has not been the worst one I have had. I have learned a lot about me and life in general. I have been gainfully employed all year which is one of the biggest things I am thankful for. Next I have family to be thankful for, without them I wouldn't be where I am. I have made lots of new friends that I can say will be in my life for a long time to come. There are things in my life that I want and have gotten closer to obtaining them. I have tons to look forward to in the upcoming year. The possibilities are endless and I plan on making 2011 MY YEAR!

Don't be jealous......
This is what I woke up to this morning. Everyday that I have been here I have been out the door before sunrise. The water was very relective as it is at night as well. Right now its very dark blue and looks cold. I thought I would share what I woke up to and really don't be jealous :) Last night I watched Eat, Love, Pray. Very good movie! I am at a point where I am so thankful to be out of my marriage and onto bigger and better opportunities. I learned some things the other night that helped that and I woke up feeling it yesterday, then this movie last night. I will be owning this movie at some point soon. I am getting excited for Christmas this year. It is going to be fun and lots of gifts to had by all. The Associates Store is awesome, I have gotten lots of good stuff. I am also very excited to celebrate the reason for the season. LIFE IS GOOD! GOD IS GREAT!

Winter is finally here...
It is officially cold here. The leaves are all gone and the colors if any are very drab. I am at Village Quilting today watching the cars go by. Not really, I have had customers and started a store sample. Hope it turns out good, we shall see. It was a very quiet day here for Turkey day. I am housesitting this week. The dogs and I packed up and went to mom and dad's for lunch. I went to Copeland's for dinner, it was a very nice treat. Well back to sewing I go. Hope you are having a great weekend. I have no major plans, what are yours?

Happy Birthday Dad!
Today is dad's big 60!!! Joe and his wife are here visiting. They got here last night and will be here til Monday morning. We went wine tasting after lunch and are headed to dinner soon. My mouth is watering. This morning we had a family portrait taken. I can't wait to see how they turn out. Its nice to have a proffesional photographer as a great friend still! We had a lot of fun with Brian getting the pictures shot. We are sitting around figuring out electronic devices from the guru as I type.
On a different and equally exciting note: I got my Wal~Mart assosiates card yesterday in the mail. We went shopping last night and I we got my great discount of ten percent. This means I have been at Wally World for 4 months now.
I hope you are all enjoying your beautiful Saturday, wherever you might be!

Bucket List
I was watching Kate Plus 8 last night, they were in Alaska. They were flown onto a glacier, whale watching, and a few other things. I got to thinking about my bucket list. I have never really thought about it since I am no where near kicking the bucket. Last night I realized that I already had a few things crossed off mine.
1. Whale watching
2. swimming with wild dolphins
3. hanging out in a parking lot with a rockstar chatting,
4. Stonehenge
5. Cubs baseball game
6. Cowboys football game front row seats
Some not on the list yet would be a trip to Washington DC, NY, a few states up the east coast, a trip to Australia. Crossed off or still need to do, what would be on your list?

Chicken Noodle Soup
Ok so this is what I had for lunch today. I figured out why I had never made it before. I oddly enough put too much water in it and not enough. I had too little liquid for the whole package of noodles. I had added water but all that did was water it down. I will attempt it again just not too soon. I have what's left and think I can fix it. I will freeze it and fix it when I defrost it.
The leaves are turning here. I need to go out and take some pics of the lake at sunset with my actual camera, not just my cell phone. It looks like tonight would be a good night for that. This time change has me all screwed up.....light when I went in and sun is setting an hour after I get home....hmmm. I will post pics if I get out and take some!

Life
It seems to be on a track.....right, wrong or indifferent. I have attempted to update this site often, its usually the laptop that gets in the way. It has a mind of its own. I just spent the last 3 hours trying to get it to get me on the internet. I have spent the from January to August working for the US Census. I really wish I had blogged through my times there. There were tons of stories to be told, but at the same time that couldn't be told. I held a supervisory position the whole time I was there. I learned a lot and I mean a lot, mostly about myself. I left the Census on a Friday and started at Walmart on the following Monday. On the 23rd of this month it will be 3 months. At three months I get an assosiates card, this allows 10% off at the store and I get to shop in the associates store. Its a store set up with lots of great deals. I am really excited to be able to shop there. I get up anywhere from 4 to 6 in the morning and am off work usually before 4 in the afternoon. We are on flex time so I choose my hours and what I can take or get done in a day.
I have gone to church most Sundays this year, I became a member of the First United Methodist church of Bella Vista. I am making this place called Bella Vista home, its starting to grow on me. I have dated a lot over the last two years. None have stuck around for to long to be anything. Most have been fun and I have made lots of friendships out of them. I have gone to church most Sundays this year.
I am still quilting, its a passion I can't see myself giving up very easily, its a fantastic artistic outlet. My friends up at the shop are the greatest and support me in all that I do. Mom and dad are also two of my biggest supporters. I feel like I have rambled enough....so if you got this far thanks.
If I was doing this blog on a regular basis I would have talked about the homemade chicken noodle soup. It smells awesome and is still simmering as I type. Can't wait to try it, my plan is to freeze some of it.
